I have had some trouble using it on my page and getting the concepts down in my head, so I decided I would experiment with this page because is the topic which I feel I am the least comfortable with, positioning.In this three part series we will explore the potential of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to make life simpler. The second reason is because this is a great example of what can be done using the float command.

If I can do this well, I feel that I can probably take on creating a simple entry for the Zen Garden. I am considering whether I want to give the extra credit problem a try and so I wanted to test out whether I can edit this to the point where I am satisfied. The first reason is, this is a CSS Zen Garden page. Ok, I was not telling the exact truth above about why I chose this page.

After doing this assignment, I feel much more confident in my ability to use CSS to make my pages as successful as I know they can be. I feel like this assignment was very helpful also because it gave me a fun place to try out my ideas for how everything worked without having to worry if it didn't look right and would count off my grade. I am learning more how to use floats effectively what the results of my actions are in CSS such as float and clear without having to guess and check so much to see if what I did was actually what I wanted to do. What I learned from this assignment was quite a bit. Not until I saw this site did I really see what variety could be achieved. The CSS Zen Garden has been really interesting for me to see all the different things one can do with CSS past the tip of the iceberg we are just beginning to grasp in class. This is really just me experimenting with what can be done with CSS in a different environment than a typical homework assignment.ДЇor this assignment, my overall goal is to take a page with html and CSS and play with it in such a way that I can really learn something from it.
